Do a search on the forum and you will find several threads that deal with Aperture migration already.

this is how i did it
first make sure all my photos reff not managed
the open up C1 and in sport the catalog
good for a coffee or 10

then once in you can if you want move all the files into the catalog
it work more less the same way as managed does in Aperture plus side is it is a bit faster

    hope this helps

    John,

With the release of 9.1 the trial period is reset - so you could download 9.1 and trial again BUT, if I were you, I would wait for the next update since there seem to be a few bumps along the road for Mac users.

To make a request for an enhancement you can use the Support Case system and use a phrase like "Enhancement Request" as part of the title line.

That said if you are intending to make a request for an enhancement to the Aperture catalogue conversion utility ... it's something of a one-off speciality that only has any purpose for Aperture users and then, presumably, not many of them since your specific concern is not something I can recall seeing discussed previously. In fact it sounds rather strange. However I see no reason for a conversion program that is attempting to assist with moving from one system to another but not guarantee identical results in so doing.

Presumably the life of the conversion program will be relatively short as possible conversions are completed by existing users.

However it should be worth raising the Support Case in order to ensure that the results you are seeing cannot be resolved with existing functionality.
