I am not familiar with the "porcelain pastel" style in CO 4.8 Pro. I can't find it in either the Win or Mac version, which come with an equal set of styles.

If you accidently (or on purpose) closed a tool on one of the tool tabs, you can get it back by reverting to the Default workspace (Window menu, Workspace, Default) or by right-clicking in a free area of the tool tab (collapse tools if necessary to create free area). You can rearrange tools on a tab by dragging.

Creating a style is explained in the Help file or User manual, section 7.5 pg 77-78 (or do a search in the help file).

I found the reference to porcelain pastel on the phase one website in the section under using styles.

    http://www.phaseone.com/HOME/Content/Su ... 20-%20Main

    and espescially:
    http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Softwar ... tyles.aspx

which states that "Capture One comes with a wide range of predefined styles e.g. cross processing or porcelain pastel. "

I do not see these styles in my Windows version 4.8 of the software.

While trying to save my style, I was confused by the reference (in the manual, page 78) to copy my adjustments. "HOW!??" I kept asking myself. I was unable to see in the "Adjustments" menu any way to copy adjustments. It wasn't until I hit the icon that looks like a washboard (or a window with horizontal blinds) that I found the place to copy adjustments.

Thank you very much for the help in getting back my tool!

    Andrew,
The web links regarding the porcelain style are referring to CO 3.x Pro, not CO 4.x Pro. A bit confusing, I understand.
