can I stich photos in panorama using photos from d100 camera

Hi,
I have the problem if I would stitching photos in panorama,
during this proces in Phase One I have infot that it is possible only with digital back ? It mean that it could be possible only from specific camera ??
please help ! ❓

  This Feature in Capture One is specifically for large format using a Phase One digital back mounted on a Phase One FlexAdapter. Using these devices, the match-up of the images is precise and exact at each pixel line.
  
  That said, it is possible to stitch other image files and some have found success in doing so. It is necessary to move camera laterally rather than panning for best results.
  So officially, it can be done but Not Supported if not using Phase One products.
