Preferences question

Is there any way of getting C1 to remember that I want the focus view to be set to medium?
Also, even though I have the sharpening set to 50% in preferences, C1 insists on setting it to 34%. Am I missing something?

    Once set at the Focus tab, the size of the Focus View should remain constant.

    Preference settings will hold true for all New Sessions once it has been changed from a previous setting.
    If you have older Sessions, you are seeing the older Preferences setting for Sharpening. For these you will have to reset the sharpening to desired. The easiest way is to set the first image, select all remaining images, and then Apply these Sharpening settings to icon.

    It does within a session, but not after a restart.

    If your Preference settings are not holding then suggest deletion of this file.
    C:\\Program Files\\Phase One\\Capture One PRO\\Preferences
    Preferences.pf
    Delete with program closed, and it will rebuild upon launch.

    If the problem persists, suggest a complete Uninstall and clean reinstall of most recent version 3.7.4.
    Follow Knowledge Base article for complete Uninstall from system:

    I've done everything you said - which lost all the settings for the images I processed!!! - but still the Focus Window will not keep it's medium setting. As I said, it holds it during the session, but whenever C1 is restarted, it goes back to the 'small' setting.
