Metadata / File properties
I just discovered that on my last process batches, the metadata file properties for capture/creation date was not carried trough although I'm almost certin that they used to.
Does anyone out there have a logical explanation to that, wether it might be me pressing a wrong tab or something silly like that.
All suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is rather important to my workflow.

Unfortunately, CO4 only lets pass very limited metadata. There are several reports about that here. I have not (yet) looked into detail what is carried through and what not. Might depend on type/brand of raw file too. Hope for an improvement with a future update. 0 -

I would like to change some of my metadata (EXIF) data.
If this possible with version-4?
Particularly I want to change the camera name, and the serial number doesn't display.
It is all new to me though.0 -
Editing metadata has been a Capture One Pro feature and is therefore missing in the CO4 "base" release. You might want to evaluate the upcoming CO4 Pro release, scheduled for later this week.
Note that metadata could be split in IPTC fields and EXIF data. The latter is created by the camera and read-only in most programs (with a few exceptions). IPTC fields are there for you to edit. I hope this very brief introduction gives you the basic idea.0
