32 bit version?
I bought Capture One Express 6 literally a week before the Express 7 version came out, and emailed the support for the free upgrade key as offered.
However, I have a 32 bit Windows install so can't use it ☹️
Does anyone, ideally staff, know:
1) If v7 will offer 32 bit support at any point? I'm assuming not?
2) How long v6 will continue to be supported, most importantly for new camera RAW files?
I don't want to find I've just bought something that will require me to completely rebuild my machine or buy a new one in the near future!

1) Sorry but no. Capture One 7 requires a 64 Bit OS to meet the RAM requirements.
2) Define supported? We will always be here to help you if you have trouble and support the software but we will no longer be updating this software as we have are moving forward with Capture One 7.0 -
Hi Drew, thanks for the quick reply!
I guess by "supported" really the only thing I care about is camera support. It sounds like no new cameras will be added to the v6 branch, so if I upgrade I'll have to also upgrade C1?
If that is the case I have one final question, which is, does the 6 -> 7 upgrade license key I've been give have an expiry?
These are not necessarily huge issues as I have no plans to upgrade for a couple of years anyway, although if I got a RAW-supporting compact it might be annoying, so just want to be prepared!0 -

Not at all, the Key is good for that software as long as you use the software.0 -
Okay, brilliant. Thankyou for the help! 0
