Urgent : C1 5.1.2, Macbook Pro(2010), Canon 1Ds Mk3
Hello
I just received my new Macbook Pro - just in time for a travelshoot. However, things are not working..
Simply put : Canon 1Ds mk3 connects but images does not appear and are not downloaded from camera (tethered). The capture progress bar flashes VERY briefly but then nothing more happens!
Canon 1Ds mk3 with newest firmware. Macbook Pro with all software updates. Camera work perfectly on my Mac Pro and other USB hardware works fine on the Macbook Pro.
Help!

Have you tried all the other USB ports of your new MacBook Pro? 0 -
As Paul mentioned, try the other USB ports. I have this issue as well. The port closest to the power supply seems most reliable. 0 -
I have tried both USB ports - same issue!
Hope someone can help soon! Thanks!0 -
Test with EOS Utility. Download the latest version for compatibility with Snow Leopard. Does it connect? If yes, it is not the hardware and you could use this as a backup solution.
Try also different (and shorter) cables. I know, that same cable works with other computers. Test it anyway.
Another option is to revert to CO 5.0.2. You can download it from the download software archive pages in the Phase One site.0 -
remove your CF-Card from your 1Ds Mark III and activate shoot without card in your camera!
Capture One should work now tethered! If you have a compact flash card inside your 1Ds Mark III capture one gets confused.0
