Regarding the application object's 'selected variants' prop.

This early-implemented property has made it impossible to iterate directly through these variants without an AppleScript error occurring. Thus this property has been deprecated and is hidden in our dictionary. Scripts that use this property will continue to work as before, however whenever possible it is advisable to use the 'variants whose selected is true' instead.
