Capture One uses the standard method of selecting multiple items that first appeared in early versions of Mac OS and Windows 3.1. But the majority of computer users don't know about it.

The selection rules work like this: When one item is selected (has the solid beveled border in Capture One), clicking another item while holding the shift key will select all items in between. Clicking an item while holding the control key will add that item to the selection group. Control+clicking an already selecting item will un-select it. (Ctrl+A will select all.)

First click on the thumbnail image on the left which you are going to adjust. Make your changes. Then using the shift or control keys in the method described above to add more thumbnails to the selection. Now when you use the apply these settings to the selected captures it will be applied to all the images that have the dotted border around their thumbnail. Just make sure the image you want to copy from is the first one you select so it has the solid bevel.
