Exporting Originals with Adjustments not working

I would use Process mostly. However, when you export a variant with a crop do you see a a tick box in the Export Recipe > Adjustments tab to "Ignore Crop"?

I ask as you have commented about "Include Adjustments" but not that box particularly and that makes me think that you are not exporting the variant but the original.

The description of the functionality in the on-line user guide is somewhat ambiguous.

I think you should try exporting the variant.

Alternatively create a Process Recipe and work with that.

Hopefully one of those will give you an immediate way to do what you need to do.

From memory V9 has had some tweaks applied to the DNG creation and use side of things so it might also be sensible to create a Support Case and seek clarification about what is and is not intended functionality for each of the three possible approaches.

    HTH.

    Hi

Export originals with settings makes a copy of the RAW+ its CO settings file.
Crop is a setting in the settings file - part of the CO pipeline and can not be read by other apps.
Export originals with settings is used primarly as a workflow to get adjustments out of a catalog for either re-import, make back up, or to a session workflow. This concept only works inside Capture One.

For use in another app, you will need to commit the CO adjustments into a format the other app understands - this would be export Variant (as a tiff for example).

Ignore crop is used by digital techs that might have made a creative crop on set, but need to process the whole file for the retoucher. Ignore crop skips the crop during processing so the RAW retains the crop made by the AD, and the processed file is full frame.
