Would be a 'nice to have' feature for sure, not a must have.

I'm not sure I was very clear:

If you have 100 files with adjustments and you want to Reset them, you have to hit command-R on each and every one.

You cannot even copy the "adjustment" of a file with no settings to "re-apply" that as a Variant to new files, except for one at a time.

Same thing for Clone, New Variant, etc...

This is wierd, because you can use the button in menu bar to Copy and Apply (custom) settings to multiple files, but you can seem to do the reverse, or anything comparable.

For applying a command to a selection of images, use the Shift modifier key (and sometimes the Option key with Mac). So, Shift+Cmd+R resets all adjustments of selected images.

Ahh thank you! If that's in the manual then I'm... guilty 🤭

I'm very excited about Variant, because it could be a very creative feature.

But Styles could be saved, for example "Polaroid look", "Bleached look", etc...

Here the logic seems to be, first create a bunch of custom looks from scratch on an image, then step through and apply them - but within one shoot.

With Variant, you have to go fishing in an old shoot to Copy, then Apply a look? What if that shoot was on some external hard drive?

I always wanted to step through my library of Styles, which I've accumulated over years, with one click of a button (keystroke).

Styles will see a grand return in the Pro version. In the meantime what you can do is create an album and keep an image of each style you develop there. Albums link to the pictures so you don't have to worry about taking up lots of extra hardrive space.

Great news -- a next/previous style keystroke, and it'll be nirvana for me!
