Cropping
I know this question was asked by someone and also answered months and months ago but I can't find it.
I need to crop so the product is central in the crop. Currently I shuffle my crop box around until it looks OK. Someone mentioned on here that you can crop from the centre line / line of symmetry. Any idea how?
Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can, in fact.

There are some cropping tips, not sure this is one of them, I currently not recall, unfortunately (banging head against wall 😉 0 -
If you're doing high volume work you might consider Capture One CH which includes an automatic cropping feature.

We've also developed a free batch scripting solution for Capture One CH for batch crop manipulation.

Thanks. Its not looking good then.
Its not high volume work and the current cropping works almost fine. I shoot wine bottles and small differences in their placement on the table means shifting the preset crop left or right a little. Getting the crop perfectly symmetrical is a pain but it rather looks like thats what I'll have to continue doing.
Thanks all.0 -
I understand your frustrations with the current crop tool. To make it a little easier on yourself, you could crop one perfectly, output a jpeg, then use that as an overlay to align the others, or if you aren't, use the drag in guides to assist in setting up your crops for repeatable placement. 0
