    I'm not an expert, but I think this action is the root cause of the problem. In my experience, one should never move (or copy or delete) image files using Windows Explorer (or Mac Finder, for Mac users). The preferred method is to move the files from within the Expression Media interface using drag and drop or the "Action > Transfer to Folder" function (I don't know the German name for it). I suspect that your action of moving your files outside the EM environment is causing the problems you are seeing.

    Not sure about your problem, but you certainly can move files in the finder on the mac and then use reset paths.

    Your program sounds like a confused catalogue.

    I am having the same problem (2). When I click on a folder in the catalog and choose to update it, EM creates a parallel folder of the same name and duplicates the entries in the database instead of updating the folder I chose.

    Windows 7 64 bit.
