Can't read List View anymore

The font in my List View is displaying in near white so it cannot be read against the white background.

I have been running the program for a week: only today did this problem appear.

  This is a "feature" from the iView days.
  
  In the different view modes the font colour matches that of the label assigned to an image. It sounds like you have a label colour that is light - possibly cyan? - and have images assigned to it.
  
  Assuming you haven't mislabelled your images your only option is to change the colour of the label via the Edit > Preferences > Labels & Colours option. You click on the existing colour for a label and it should show you a colour selection window. You can also change the name of a label through this option. Changes here are at application and not catalogue level.
  
  Ideally the application should allow for customisable colour schemes but iView, Microsoft and now Phase One have never considered this a high enough priority.
