Quick question

I did a quick search and couldn't find the answer, so.... I upgraded to CO8 about a month or so ago because I can use it on my laptop. However, I can't use it on my MacPro because of compatibility issues. So I went to use CO7 just now on my MacPro and it acts like I don't have a licence anymore. Do I lose my ability to use a prior version once I update? Is it just a glitch where I can enter my key and if so, which one? The one for seven or the new one for eight?

  My understanding is that the NEW KEY should be used and will also activate older versions.

  Ok. I guess I will try that. I just hope it doesn't cause some sort of problem with CO8.
