Sony A7R iii
When shooting tethered to C1pro using Sony should I be able to shoot without using the Sony version of the software?

Yep, the Pro version covers all supported cameras. 0 -
Hi Chris, do you need to change settings within the camera to shoot tethered?. I'm used to shooting with a Canon system and C1 usually recognise the camera when I attach it. Currently, when I'm attaching the camera Sony via the USB it is recognising the camera as a storage device but not as a camera attached. 0 -
Have you got Sony ticked as an enabled camera for tethering purposes in the Preferences? (Assuming you are using full Pro not Pro for Sony.)
If so - in what order as you connecting/switching on/firing up, etc.0 -

Set the Camera to PC-Remote in its settings.0
