D800 won't tether for more than one shot using osx 10.9
I'm hoping someone might shed some wisdom on this issue I'm having.
My D800 will tether with my older MacBook Pro (running 10.7.5) and C1 7.1.6 but won't tether for more than one shot with my new laptop (running 10.9) and C1 7.2.
It see's the camera, maybe it will allow one shot to come through (or not even that) and then it disconnects.
Anyone else had this issue or, even better, has anyone solved it?
Oh the joys of our digital age - I guess even one shot at a time then reconnect is quicker than the old darkroom but it's not much use for my shoot with kids tomorrow!!

Provide some details about your hardware.
If I had to guess I would say you're using a USB cable longer than 3.3 Meters. The capture trying to transfer simply drains the power of the port and kills the connection. Use an externally powered hub with one 3.3Meter USB Cable between camera and hub and one between hub and computer. Be sure to remove any storage card from the Camera.0
