Just to add my 2 cents, I have the exact same problem right now after upgrading to 8.2.

Images I edited yesterday are totally off (colors, exposure, rotation). The thumbails look ok, but when I open an image in the viewer it looks totally different from the thumb.

Have not see this with CO 8.2 so far. Can you try it with OpenCL acceleration Never for display (Preferences)?

Having exactly the same problem. C1 keep forgetting adjustments since upgrading. On previous adjustments some of them come in but most do not. Just brought in a 25,000 photo Aperture library a few days ago and now a lot is missing as well as stuff that I just did yesterday.

You guys need to get online with Tech Support. It maybe a quick fix, especially if it's broadly reproducable.

I have already opened a support case, but so far no solution.

It is indeed very clearly a problem with the Aperture Importer. I was wondering why a few of my images were unaffected by this problem and now it hit me: those were images that I just recently shot and imported normally into the catalog. They appear correct and kept all their adjustments.
It is only with images that ran through the Aperture Importer which have been "reset" to their slider settings right after the import process. Anything I did with them in the meantime is gone.

i have this problem since version 7, never using aperture importer. using sessions, after program restart some folders will not show the previous setting and adjustments. but i have found this workaround: select all pictures and make a clone variant (F3). the clones will show all previous made adjustments in correct way. now tag this new clones with colors or stars, select all others (the first ones) and delete them. nevertheless - annoying.

Just to update here: no solution yet. I had to upload my catalog file and several log files to support, but have not heard back from them since two weeks now. 😕
    8.2.1 has the same problem.

    UPDATE:
Ok, so here's the solution: my catalog/database was corrupted. I found this out after checking with the "Verify catalog" menu item. It reported a database problem at the end and when I clicked on "repair", the same issue came up like after upgrading to 8.2 (thumbnails fine, image in viewer totally off). Guess this happened during one of the many crashes I had in recent weeks. I solved this now by manually copying+pasting the adjustments from a fresh new catalog with the affected images.

So my advice to everybody: check that "verify catalog" option from time to time, especially before doing lots of work.
