Export Images Never Look Right
Hello Everyone!
I am so perplexed over why my export image looks so different from what I see inside the program. Sometimes the images look amazing, just like in Capture One. But most of the time there is a very noticeable difference. The worst is when the image becomes blurry and too dark. How do I fix this?!! And TY in advance 😊

What are you using to view the exported image? And what colour space is used in your export recipe (sRGB, Adobe RGB, etc)?

Hi Ian,
Thank you for your response 😊
I am doing JPEGsRGB
Format: JPEG 8bit
ICC Profile: Adobe RGB 1998
Resolution: 400 px/in
and I view the exported pictures in windows photo viewer. I try to keep the photo to 1MB so that I can post to Facebook and Instagram.0 -
Could you try sRGB instead of Adobe RGB for the ICC profile? Probably best for Facebook etc anyway.

Looks good so far... I noticed also that I selected "output sharpening", I unselected that as well. I will have to test it more! Thank you Ian! 0 -
If you select "Output" on the toolbar and make changes, you will not see these changes in the picture. So if there is something wrong with your options, you only see this after exporting the image. If you choose "View-Enable Recipe Proofing" the picture is shown the way you will export it. So you can see the effects of ICC Profile, quality and sharpening. 0 -
honestly there's no difference if i disable it or enable it 0
