Second monitor not refreshing
I have a small VGA display for tools and browser, using a second Eizo 24" display for main viewing and assessing edits. I have clicked Dual Monitor under 'Window' -> 'Workspace'.
Problem is that when I select a new image to work on in the Browser window on the VGA display, the image dose not refresh to the new one chosen on the big Eizo display.
Computer is Mac Pro, 6 Gb RAM + best video card.
Also, I would like to be able to rotate the image on the main Eizo display independently of the orientation of the image in the Browser & Viewer window.

Mark,
The secondary viewer should mirror the primary. If not then perhaps there is a hiccup in the Window setup or Plist.
If that is the case follow steps 2, 4 and 5 of the link below;

If the issue continues create a support case and we can dig into it further.
In regard to having independent control of rotation from one viewer to the next as well as the browser thumbnail, this is not possible. The rotation is either applied to an image or it is not, all 3 views of the image will reflect the same rotation change and cannot be separate from one another. If you want to see the rotated image paired next to the un-rotated image simply create a new variant on the image.0 -
Thanks Drew. After posting my question, I closed C1 and found I had somehow a number of images opened under Preview, sitting behind C1. Closing these Preview images restored normality and secondary display mirrored primary again. So no real problem at all.
The new variant suggestion should also help, thanks.

Glad to hear it was a simple solution. Those are the kind I like best, especially on Sundays. 0
