Cross-platform sessions Capture One 5/6

Hello

Sorry if this has been discussed anywhere else . . . I did look! But . . .

In the release notes for Capture One 6 it mentions a lack off cross-platform compatibility with v. 5 sessions as a known issue . . . Does this mean it is going to be sorted at some point?

  I believe you might be misunderstanding this....
  
  Session are compatible between versions (4 to 5 to 6)
  
  With cross platform means between the supported operating systems. a.k.a Mac OS and Windows.
  Note that file settings is compatible. So a folder opened and edited on Windows will open with all settings retained on Mac and vice versa.
  But the session file is cross platform compatible.

  correct.
  
  session files are NOT cross platform while file settings are.
