Capture One is reducing my image pixel size on JPG export

Hey guys,

I know that I will likely figure this out but.... I am demo'ing Capture One to compare it to ASP2 and DxO Optics Pro.

When I output a full size jpg (without making any crops) I get an image which is smaller in pixel size and way smaller in file size. I have selected no crop and have used JPG 100%. Now I would expect some difference but my DxO file is 17MB and my Capture is 7.5MB. Same image... it has reduced the image size to 3619-5429 instead of the native 3648-5472. I know its not much but it is something I need to figure out. I have gone into lens adjustments and made sure that they are all off and in Crop I have selected Original but so far no change.

Any quick answers???

  Hi,
  
  I suspect it is part of the lens correction where it is hiding the distorted areas (what it thinks are), to check it go to the LENS CORRECTION panel in the LENS tab and unclick Hide Distorted Areas and you should see a darker frame around the image appear.
  
  If I remember correctly it wont let you print those areas when you use the supplied camera lens profile,
  
  You can also check how many pixels are in the crop if you select the crop tool.
  
  You can print the full sized image if you select a Lens profile of Generic and then expand the crop to the original size. Obviously this wont include the C1 Lens corrections.
  
  Image size in MB is probably not relevant unless you know the compression algorithms used by each product.
