Delete and re-name workspaces

I think I am right in saying that you cannot delete the "System" provided workspace selection but you can do what you like with any you save for yourself - except rename.

In reality if you wanted to rename a workspace without changing it just save it again with a new name and then delete the one with the old name.

I can't think of any negative aspect to doing that unless it might affect the "as last used" settings for a session or catalog that is not currently open for editing but might be used in the future. I would guess that the failure to find the last used workspace would just revert to using Default.

That said I work with a Windows system. Macs may be different?

    HTH.

I can not reproduce the OP's issue. Renaming is not really a feature, but you can create a new workspace with a new name and delete a (old) workspace.

Seems something in your setup is not functioning normally. I suggest to do a repair permissions with Disk Utility, maybe refresh your preferences (http://www.phaseone.com/en/search/artic ... nguageid=1, point 6, note Mavericks instructions).
