Is capture pilot intensive on the laptop ? Can itslow tether

Is capture pilot intensive on the laptop and can it slow the tether ?

My setup runs it with no noticeable downside , but when working with other peoples set ups and capture pilot is nice but not essential wondering if it’s worth it as I’m worried it could slow down the system and tether


Also on location is the MacBook creating a wifi good enough ? Or Is there such thing as battery routers
I run an airport if power is available
