SOLVED - Newbie - First Use
Hi Team,
I just purchased Sony A7RII and trial use of Capture One Express for Sony.
I have taken some RAW (ARW) files and when I view them in Preview - Look okay. But when I see them in Capture One, they are awash with green. May it have been the ISO on those being too high? There are a few that the ISO would have been better (lower), and they a relatively okay, but also contain some splashes of green.
I have not done any conversion of the ARW file, not sure if I need to.
Side note: When I click the magnifying glass icon to look at the detail, the picture appears normal, but in the main window and the slider window down the bottom very green.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have the Focus Mask enabled?
At the top right of the window, click on the rectangular icon with 5 dots arranged as a cross.0 -
Hi RichardT,
Thanks for that this fixed it straight away. Not exactly sure what a Focus Mask does, but I guess it might show what was in focus at the time of the shot? I have a steep learning curve ahead of me. Fortunately, have an A7 class on this weekend, this might flatten the learning curve a bit.
Appreciate your help.0 -
Yes it highlights focus area of image, so it is quite usefull to check focus on your images. Keep in mind that you can always change that colour from setting menu if needed. Go to Focus tabs in settings, and you may adjust to colour that works better for you instead of green. Keep in mind that similar behaving but red color is used to show exposure warning 0 -

To easy your learning curve, tutorials from Phase One or on the site below could perhaps help.
