SOLVED - Newbie - First Use

    Do you have the Focus Mask enabled?

    At the top right of the window, click on the rectangular icon with 5 dots arranged as a cross.

    Hi RichardT,

    Thanks for that this fixed it straight away. Not exactly sure what a Focus Mask does, but I guess it might show what was in focus at the time of the shot? I have a steep learning curve ahead of me. Fortunately, have an A7 class on this weekend, this might flatten the learning curve a bit.

    Yes it highlights focus area of image, so it is quite usefull to check focus on your images. Keep in mind that you can always change that colour from setting menu if needed. Go to Focus tabs in settings, and you may adjust to colour that works better for you instead of green. Keep in mind that similar behaving but red color is used to show exposure warning
