can't select custom profiles in C1 pro

dont seem to be able to select my ETC 1Ds2 profiles in C1Pro.

I understand about Color Prefrences - uncheck 'show phase one profiles only' but the ETC profiles still dont appear.

They are clearly installed in Windows>System 32>Spool>Drivers>Color, but dont show up in the C1 drop down choices. so how do I access them?
is there a special place where C1's profile choices are kept?

  You have it in the correct location.
  Be aware that there is a FileName of a Profile and then an Embedded name in the Profile. If these are different, then you may be seeing the file but not recognizing that is it.
  
  Check again to be sure. Make a list if need be, I've done this after frustrations with this issue.

  weirdly enough I chose another camera, then re-chose 1Ds2, and the ETC profiles appeared, right where they should be.
  
  strange.
  
  now I have to remember whether to use the high or lo sat one. my brain is failing me today.

  ...So is mine.. 1 very important detail I left off...
  
  1 Add a New Profile to the Windows folder
  2 Launch Capture One - file is recognized but Will NOT show
  3 Close Capture One
  4 Upon Relaunch the Profile will show in the Pulldown
