If i activate v4 my v3.6 still working at my computer?

OK it is a dumb question...

Now i use v4 at trial mode and my 3.7 still working at my computer.
If i activate v4 my 3.7 still working (same computer) ?

I evenually use one function that only v3 have (strip metadata/exif from developed file). Is illegal if i use both versions (at same computer) ?

  nando,
  A very good and valid question! Whether it is illegal or not, I let that to Phase One support to answer. From my own experiences, I can tell you that your CO3.x keeps running as usual if you activate CO4.

  We are using both 3.7.7 and 4.0 and there are no problems.

  Yes, but does it use up one of your activations? If so, then you can't install on a laptop for instance.
