Continually loading proxies!

Not for the first time, I have the problem of C1 continually loading proxies, it'll go on all day if I leave it. Obviously whilst it's doing this, I cannot process any photos. I'm so fed up with C1, it's done this so many times. Sometimes after a few days it seems to correct itself, other times it doesn't. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, but all to no avail, it still keeps on loading thousands of proxies. Any kind soul got an answer to this problem?

  Hi Frank,
  It seems you've reported this issue a few times (3) to the kind souls in the Support Department. However we havent gotten a response from you in any of the cases, dating back over a year ago. As you have just submitted another and it has been responded to, please follow up with the case.
