Had a similar problem with catalogue (no sessions) and my pc is also up to date. The workaround tipp I had been given from another user is to use only sessions and not the new catalogue feature with C1 7 🤓 But it keeps me disturbed to hear that also with sessions it might be a problem...

Otherwise I must admit that I cannot reproduce the error steady anymore since 2 days... Now I made a fresh new catalogue and import all my 14000 pictures per year. Maybe it is a solution to wait until rendering during import is finished?

I have had the same problem - not being able to use catalogues - but only sessions, as the CO 7 crashed so often when I used catalogues. I updated my opencl driver, and now CO 7 is more stable
    See http://www.phaseone.com/Search/Article. ... nguageID=1

I have also disabled opencl in regedit, but it did not make any difference.

I have then got another problem, because CO 7 in catalogues does not register all the ratings and colour tags and register them different from how CO 7 in sessions register the ratings and colour tags, and the ratings and colour tags in both catalogue and sessions do not seem to be reliable. CO 7 og CO 6 register ratings and colour tags on my files different ande CO 6 seem to be most reliable.

I sometimes have a feeling of being a beta tester – That would be alright if they said that and organised the process for it, but as it is now it is at bit troublesome.

    HI K.,

You are not a beta tester, but a beta user and a gamma customer. It seems that Microsoft sold to P1 some bad software attitude along with MP...

I am having problem with version 7 locking up also. I don't think Phase One support has a clue as to what is causing the problems. I think it has something to do with memory management, but that's just a guess. I think they let this version slip out the door too soon. Seems to have been timed with Photokina in New York. Maybe the marketing department had something to do with it's early release.
