Is this normal for spit tones?

I circled the problem in each photo.
The problem is the transition becomes over saturated. I have tried a lot of combinations. Unless I keep the saturation under 5 or use very similar tones this happens. It even happens with the built in split tone styles.
I have tried on 2 different monitors.

Hi, I have not noticed this when using split toning in CO6. I might be a result of a combination of factors. The harder you push a slider or set of sliders into a specific direction, the bigger the chances are of unpredictable/unwanted results. If it worries you, you could best consult Phase One in a support case, upload the image file(s) with adjustment (tip: pack as EIP before upload).
