Can I edit a metadata preset?
I can create and delete metadata presets, but can I edit them? How?

Hi Bob,
It's not so difficult.
Just add the preset to a picture and change what you want to change. Then got to the Save Metadata symbol, click it and choose Save User Preset.
A pop-up will appear in which you can delete the info you don't want in the preset or add other.
Click Save and after that you'll get a finder window which opens the preset folder and where you can either save a new preset or overwrite the original one.0 -

OK, thanks. I can't edit it, but I can create a new one and save over the old one.
It's a pity I just can't directly edit what I want to change. ☹️0 -
You can also go to the preset library, open the file in a suitable editor, do your update and save it.
But then you have to know where they reside.0 -

Cool! That works.
Now if I want a field to be overwritten with nothing - creating an empty field, is there a way to do that. Leaving the value blank seems to be ignored. I guess I could use a space?0 -

I would delete the line.0 -
If I delete the line, so that there is no reference, then the preset just ignores the field; doesn't set it to nothing. 0
