Black Layers
Today, I wanted to use a healing layer on an image and when I went to add a layer, I got a black layer. I had to delete the layer to see the background layer. I've run into this before, and the solution was to completely remove CO meaning digging into windows to find any related folder to CO.
I have updated my Nvidia drivers and the CO installation about 2 weeks old. Before I do a complete wipe of CO, I'd like to know if anyone has had this issue and if they have found a simpler solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is possible that someone else will chime in with their experience and help you out but that sounds like a job for the professional support team: https://www.phaseone.com/en/SupportMain ... er-support 0 -

Hi Ian,
I have submitted a support case. I'll update as I get info.

I received a reply from support. FYI for those that might have the same issue as I did.
Hi Paul,
I suspect you have enabled "Display greyscale mask." You can change this setting in the layers brush selector, or by pressing Alt+m.
I did this and it seemed to work.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for letting us know what solved it for you. I did not think of that. 0
