C1Pro 4.6.1 icc profile adjustment copy
Hi,
I tried searching the forum but didn't see a mention of this. When attempting to copy adjustments from one image and apply them to one or more images the ICC profile property isn't being copied properly. I have verified that it is selected in the adjustments tab and have tried toggling the "camera profile" property and the "base characteristics" group in case it was a state issue. Upon playing around a bit more it seems that the value is only carried over if the specified profile is in the same family as the profile assigned to the target image(s).
For example:
I have two images shot with a Nikon D200. Upon importing into C1Pro they are automagically assigned the "Nikon D200 Generic" profile. If I change the profile in one image to "Nikon D200 Portrait", and then copy and apply those adjustments to the second image everything works as expected. If however I change it to, for example, the "Phase One Effects B&W Yellow filter" profile and copy and apply the profile doesn't update.
I haven't seen this listed as expected behaviour but it is adding a substantial amount of work to my import process. If someone has a suggestion that I've missed it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Typical a good news/bad news situation. Good news: you are the one who discovered to bug. Bad news: you guessed it already, it's a bug.
I will contact Phase One about this but will give you the credits. 😉0 -
Thanks Paul. Figured it was a bug but was hoping for a workaround in the meantime. I was going to submit a support request but that's great if you've done it... saves me some time 😊 0
