If you move images within Capture One from one folder to another, all adjustments and preview files are moved along.

My experience has been that if I create a new session and then import the adjusted files from the folder the adjustments are not carried across.

The key to keep the adjustments is to also copy the *.cos files found in the CaptureOne\Settings subfolder. There may also be some other setting files located in the Settings folder, like *.lcc which need moving. You can do this outside of Capture One using Explorer or some other file manager, but it would your job to find the adjustment files and make the necessary subfolder structure (which I do all the time).

Or, if within Capture One's Browser window you drag the files to the new folder in the Library pane, CO will move all the associated files for you. You could also use CO's "Move to Selects Folder" instead of dragging the files. Just setup your Selects Folder to the folder you want to use. Capture One will also copy the Proxy files for you (previews).

I use all three methods depending on which is easier at the time.

Do not import but move the images. Import will create a copy of each image file but does not bring along the adjustments. Two things you do not want. Move is a simple and fast operation and will retain your adjustments.
