Conflicts on opening: DB vs 4.8.3

I have several products on my MacBook Pro - DB 3.7 + Pro 3.7 + 4.8.3

Everything has been running fine until I found recently that when I shot tethered with 4.8.3 open, DB seems to automatically launch. Can I now delete the old DB and if so how?

    First check in the program Image Capture, Preferences the startup option. Should be set to No Application.
    If that does not help you, drag the 3.7 DB application to the Trash and empty the trash. 3.7 DB is superfluous anyway if you have 3.7 Pro installed.
