A trick for Fuji X-T10 users
I've seen variants of this in a couple of places on the Web and thought it might be helpful to other Capture One users.
Capture One Pro, even version 8.3.1, doesn't yet recognise Raw files from the X-T10. The trick is to edit the EXIF data from those files to read "X-T1" before import to C1P. The two cameras use the same sensor and processing engine, so the files are much the same, possibly identical in every other regard.
ExifTool [http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/ ] by Phil Harvey is a popular EXIF editor that you can use for this. It's free (and also available for Linux and Macs).
If you're not a fan of command-line interfaces, there's a list of graphical front-ends and other utilities here [http://owl.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/#related ]. (I use ExifToolGUI by Bogdan Hrastnik but it seems to be orphanware.)
I convert the data on the edited files back to “X-T10†for when I post derivatives on the Web.
This trick works with other Raw processors.

Hi Roger
Thanks for this X-T10 tip. I have been wondering how take-up of the X-T10 is progressing, and which RAW converters can handle it.
I am trying to lessen the load from a Canon system, and Fuji and Sony are top of my list. The X-T10 has the big advantage of low noise levels. At least I now know that there is a way of getting C1 to accept an X-T10 cuckoo in the X-T1 nest!

I understand that the latest edition of Lightroom works with X-T10 Raw files. I've not tried it.

Hi Roger
Thanks for your response. I will try ACR shortly. But in the meantime I have found that Silkypix 6.1.21 accepts and processes Fuji raw (.raf) files using raw X-T10 files I found on the internet. The conversions look fine to me.
Camera and software technology is moving at a hell of a pace at the moment. Probably a good time to "downsize" and watch developments from the side-lines if you are an amateur like me?

Yep, my version of ACR (Adobe CC) can process X-T10 .raf files (PS and LR). But DxO and PhotoNinja do not.
An opening for Phase perhaps, if resources allow.

Just to round off this conversation, Capture One can now handle X-T10 files natively.
