Upgrading multi seat license via website
I've been using CaptureOne for close to ten years now. I have a 5 seat license for version 5. I downloaded version 6 to try it out. The thirty days ran out last week, so I went to the website to upgrade.
There IS an option on the Phase online store for upgrading multi seat licenses but appears to be broken. I spoke with my local Phase rep. He was aware the website was not working properly and suggested I call my dealer. I did. They told me the only thing they could do was file a support case, which, of course, I could easily do myself. So I did.
Get a message back from the support team (well never actually get a message back, you have to sign on and look for it), saying that you could not upgrade a multi seat license via the website and that I had to go through my dealer.
If you can't upgrade through the website, why in the world does the online store have those option right there for you to choose, and why do the dealers have no clue as to how to accomplish this. I contacted both Samy's and Capture Integration inquiring as to how to do this. No luck anywhere.
Why is this so ridiculously difficult. I literally can't think of any vendor that makes upgrading this much of a chore.

Looking into your case it simply seems like a misunderstanding on the Rep and Dealers end. For that I apologize.
It also seems that the support team found you the solution to upgrade your Key on the Website. If you follow up with the support case I think they were even trying to provide you with a discount 😉0
