Capture One LE Crashes during batch conversion
I have just spent many hours attempting to convert around a thousand images from a recent Italy trip. Each time after setting all the image parameters and initiating a batch conversion the program crashes. I have a high end PC that gives me no trouble with other applications - a P4 3GHz with 10,00RPM WD HD, 1GB memory, ATI X800XT video. My camera is a Canon 20D. I have been trying to convert RAW to high quality JPG. I have been a Phase One LE owner for some time but this is the first time I have really tried to use the application. Disappointed! Back to Breezebrowser until I find a fix.

Johno,
I'll try to get you pointed in the right direction. Will need more details to really get at the problem though should it continue.
If all images are on local hard drive and the Process to location is also this drive, you should be able to process images without issue. Yes, 1,000 images is quite a large number for a Session, and it sounds as though you sent All to the Batch Queue, ...so you have me wondering what the results would be if you sent smaller batches to the queue.
If images are on External Hard Drives, Network Servers; and if RAW file location is in one place while Process To destination is in another, many variables are possible that may disrupt the workflow and batch processing, i.e. antivirus or firewall software, permissions for access etc.
You can try this:
C:\\Program Files\\Phase One\\C1 Pro\\Preferences within this location is the FoldersList.fld file
With software shutdown, delete this file and then relaunch allowing it to rebuild. Attempt to process and see how this goes.
Sincerely,

Thanks KK,
I am using a local drive.
Unfortunately your suggestion didnt fix my problem. I cant afford to spend more time on this. I had to resort to Breezebrowser which processed all my images without problem.

The question no one has asked you, what version are you using?
You should be on v3.7.1.
Next how many USB devices do you have connected? Are they connected into the portsd near the onboard LAN card? If they move everything that you can except the mouse to the other ones using the onboard headers.
