scanned grey scale jpg...
Hi,
are b/w jpg images not supported? If so when will this happen? I've quite some scanned old b/w photos that did not transfer from Aperture to CO1. Can almost not believe grey scale jpg's not being supported.
Cheers, Fons.

Greyscale images are not supported indeed. 0 -
Why not?!?! How am I supposed to do DAM with those images? How can this be so difficult. Oh come on. 0 -

Dear Alphonse2,
Please vent your frustration to Phase One directly into a support case, instead against another user of Capture One who tries to help you. Do not shoot the messenger. Thank you.0 -
Hoi Paul,
was not the purpose to shoot the messenger. Apologies if that is how it sounded. I'll file a support case.
Dank voor de hulp en tot ziens.

I have an automator script to convert the gray scale pics to sRGB. I found it somewhere on the net. 0 -
For me it does not matter if the profile is sRGB or not. I've filled in the Maker and Model EXIF tags to be the original camera, (NIKON, Nikormat EL) and this works great when doing DAM in Aperture and LR. I can search for all photos taken with my old film cameras. I am not planning to edit this away to get them to import in C1. They should fix their program to support Maker and Model tags for non-raw photos that do not match models for which they support raw conversion.
