How to setup preferences for Adjustments
I have asked this previously but yet to figure out exactly how to accomplish this.
My workflow is to copy adjustments and paste them across several images. One adjustment I would like not to get copied is the "Composition", leaving the orientation and rotation as it is in the file being copied to.
I would like this to be a default setting, where, I do not have to go back to either the top tool bar and open the double arrow to deselect the "Composition" setting or on the Adjustments Clipboard and interact with this either.
I am sure there is a way to accomplish this, but it is eluding me. Help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
doug

Do you mean, that if you use the "Copy and Apply" button then the Comp' setting get copied as well?
I think this is a bug. I did log it in a case you should as well. Work around seems to be to hit the copy button then paste button.0 -

Hi Rick,
No the individual actions work for me just fine, e.g., Adjustments Clipboard- Deselect "Composition" then hit appy works, or go to the toolbar up top on the double arrow and select that and then deselect the "Composition" again and it works ok there too.
What I would like to do is setup a custom Clipboard where "Composition" is not selected unless I specifically select and apply it.0 -
Could you do this with a Style? 0 -
Hi Drew-
I am not sure... I cannot seem to get the style to work, though I have tried. It probably is my ineptness and the not the program. However, LR3, which I don't use anymore has a nice easy way to incorporate this functionality. You might have a look at that.0 -

From what I can see in Lightroom it's the same concept as a Style 😄
If you're still having issues with creating this workflow please create a support case and we can walk you through it.0
