Upgrade sale?

I am still using version 11 because I balked at the idea of spending $150 for the upgrade to 12 and thought I would wait to see if there was going to be a sale. I had trialed version 12 and liked the luminosity masking, but did not think it was worth the cost of the upgrade.

Lo and behold I received an email offering from PhaseOne of 50% off of version 12 so I investigated. I logged onto the website using the link provided, selected Upgrade and tried to apply the coupon code. Well, long story short, it did not work. It would not allow me to get past putting in the code. I assumed that the code was really only for first time buyers or, perhaps, for people who wanted a second copy for a relative or friend, but thought I should check before just giving up. Has anyone else received this 50% off sale offer? And did it work for anyone for an upgrade?

UPDATE:

While it does not appear from responses that anyone else has run into this problem I should update this to let anyone interested know that I sent a support request to CaptureOne and got back a response that said that they did not know why my code did not work (and did not work for them when they tried it either), but gave me a new code that did work.

Problem solved, at least for me.
