Optimization using MBP 2012
I realize this is likely a common topic, however after some searching I've not found a thread for general ideas concerning optimizing C1. I'm currently a trial user using C1 for the first time on a MBP 2012 Retina. I'm looking for a thread that may offer advice or suggestions on how to speed up general processing of photographs, specifically in regards to local adjustments.
Any advice or links to threads would be greatly appreciated!

There are no specific settings or configurations on software side to optimize Capture One.
On the hardware side, CO7 likes RAM and a fast disk (preferably SSD).
And in case you have your images on a network attached drive or storage device, to prevent slow performance due to less than optimal network connection, CO7 works best with images on local hard drive. Note however that the catalog feature is less sensitive to network performance when you store the images outside the catalog, in their current location on a network drive, as they are only access during import and export/process.0 -
Does CO7 take advantage of the quad-core in the MBP15?
Or will the MBP13 be good enough?0 -
