I downloaded 3.7.5 and installed it as instructed and when I open it and check the "About Capture One Pro" file splash screen, it says 3.7.5 2948.

I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.7 on a Intel Core Duo.

Since there is no question mark in your post I assume that you only wanted to share this info with the rest of the community.

    Cheers

Until I rebooted the update did not register as 3.7.5 in the show info command (which gave me version 3.7.4), although the About Capture One Pro splash screen did show 3.7.5. After a reboot, there are no further problems.

I rebooted several times since the install but the "About Capture One Pro" splash screen still indicates 3.7.4. As I said, it's as though the new update never installed. It's still version 3.7.4.

    Dear Eve,
You might be opening an old alias.
Go to applications- find your Capture One folder- confirm 3.74 and/or 3.75- release notes are also included in the file for indication of what you installed.
    Kind regards,
    JRA- Phase One Support

Cheers JRA, I checked as per your instructions and no, the release notes for 3.7.5 are not included. I have all the previous release notes from 3.7 - 3.7.4 but not 3.7.5 in the folder.

I'm running OSX 10.4.4 on a DP 2.7 G5 and had no problem. Did you try repairing permissions before and after (via the Apple Disk Utility). I didn't replace my 3.7.4 alias in the dock and it still opens v3.7.5. Maybe some type of corruption in the download or some virus protection running?

Hi Mark, Thanks so much for the advice. I contacted support online and they advised me to re-install from scratch. I did, and it worked perfectly. I now have 3.7.5 installed.

I did check (verify) disk permissions via Disk Utility and didn't see anything that should/would cause this problem. But again, thanks!
