ImgCoreProcess over 200 % on CPU is this normal?

Can anyone shed any light on this....
Recently my mac has been shutting down due to overheating, Its being tested by Apple but so far they cant find any hardware faults.
Latest tests show the CPU reaching over 200% when processing files through C1.
I've reverted briefly back to CO6 since i can actually still work the machine without it turning off ( I get around 10mins processing on CO7 before it cuts out) but the fans are going overtime and it renders the machine barely useable until process's are finished.
I've got a MBP Retina, 16GB Ram, 500GB SSD runnning 10.8.3
CO6.4.5 and CO7.1.3
Brand new install of the op system, nothing else running whilst C1 open.
Any thoughts?
