How to move (referenced) pictures to another catalog?

I am reorganizing my catalogs but can't figure out how I can most efficiently move my (referenced) pictures into another catalog without importing and exporting. Any help?

  I suggest you look at the features that are new in CO8 that enables you to export a collection into a catalog and import that catalog into another catalog.
