Capture name in IPTC data.
I recently saw this posted in a C1Pro for Windows forum.
<<<<<I recently noticed that the ITPC description field is being filled in with the file path information after processing. Here is an example:
Capturefile: D:\\Photos\\20060905 Radiologist Group\\_MG_7937.CR2
CaptureSN: 720424777.000001
Software: Capture One PRO for Windows
I can't locate a place to disable this information from being placed into the field or change the default. I know there are ways to change this after the fact, but that's an extra step and I'm hoping I can alter this before the file is processed.
>>>
Does this indicate that the Windows version of C1Pro allows for the capture name to be included in processed TIFFs metadata???
This is something I would die for on the Mac side - A way to be able to rename a processed file, but still have a record of the original caputure included in the metadata. Unfortunately I have not been able to get any answer to this question on the forum boards.
Thanks if anyone has an idea on how to accomplish this, or if it will be included on the Mac version of C1Pro
