Sluggish cropping with 5.2.1

I am using C1 Pro 5.2.1 with Windows 7 Professional. When I use my Wacom tablet or mouse and crop images the cropping windows is extremely sluggish and slow. When I begin cropping in the upper left of the frame and drag diagonally down to the bottom right corner to crop to 4x5 the crop frame doesn't appear and open until I reach the bottom right corner of the frame. When I adjust the crop frame the adjustment is very sluggish.

I do not have this problem when cropping in Photoshop CS5 - the crop tool is very responsive.

Older versions of C1 Pro had sluggish cropping - they fixed it is version 4 but it's back in version 5.

Are other people having this issue - any ideas on how to fix it.
