Shaded area around image - possible to make solid black?

When an image has a lens profile applied to it, it will occasionally have a shaded (about 50% density) area bordering it.

Equally, if I crop an image, this shaded area appears.

Is it possible to make this solid black?

    yep, just change the opacity in the CO Preferences under Crop
