Capture One 11 Proof Margin Bug
I sometimes use the proof margin adjuster in preferences in order to see how an image might look when it is smaller for example as an instagram post.
With this latest version of capture one the proof margin adjuster slider seems to be creating very exaggerated artefacts in the image. For example the exposure is different on one half of the image to the other or there are bright pink or green lines tearing through the frame. This did not occur in c1 10. Now all the images that I have used this on are messed up and won't go back to normal unless I make the proof margin 0(zero).
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) Fully spec'd out.

I don't know the solution for the proof margin problem. But have you considered another way of finding out what an image would look like at a different size? If you have an output recipe for an Instagram square image (1080 x 1080, I believe) then you can select that recipe and use the recipe proofing tool (the pair of spectacles icon) to see what output using that recipe will look like.

I don't encounter the same issue on my MBP.
Did you try to disable hardware acceleration, just to see how it behaves ? I read you have a 5K display.0
